Question Character age.

Since about a couple month I've been trying to find out if anyone else had this problem or not.

I don't know if i am putting this in the right section, but here it goes

I created a couple of my characters in late November of last year, I don't know the exact date. However for some reason when I do the /age command it calculates back as if I made those characters in January of this year.

If anyone can give me a clearer understanding or tell me who I would have to contact, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

As I understand it, using /age should return an age of 11 months (or 23 for characters nearly two years old) until the anniversary of the exact date the character was created.

I actually have a few characters that are at that point, as I created several characters at roughly this time last year (figured it was better than having empty character slots ).

only had this problem with my first character.....her age is the day she moved from pre to post searing, as I KNOW I played her for a week or so before that its strange that they picked that as her bday.
For my others I usually take a screen shot on the day I make them, mostly to record what they looked like on day 1, though it also helps in giving them a birthday (the elonians have the best one---I take their first shot when they finish the first mission with Koss)....I have found that some of my calculations were off a bit both + and -.
The age thing is funny in that it will record say 10 months until the exact day of 11 months....so it may be that your characters were made in December instead of November (a late November bday will give you still 11 months right now) so keep checking them it may be that they are late December babies instead?

What I don't understand is I know my ranger has been to the halloween event all three years yet the game says I've only played him for 26 months. He was my first char on my account and I did not delete any other.

Easy, the game was launched in April 2005, the 28 i think. So April 28 2008 will be the 3rd birthday of GW. Based on this, it's just normal that you char is around 26 months old.

attending all 3 halloweens would still put you at 2 years, just over with the time to get to LA. 1st Halloween to 2nd= 1year, 2nd to 3rd = 1 year. 2 years, all 3 halloweens

I started my first character like the first week of June in 05 and his age is snowing at 29 months. That's about right.....give or take.

Heh, I had the same problem with mine. Gnashing my teeth for a whole month wondering what my char's birthday was. Decided that this year I would write down the date so I will know for sure next year.

I didn't bother - turned out it was October 31st
